Handel’s famed Royal Fireworks music headlines Mercury Baroque’s season opening concert at the Wortham Center on October 10th, 2009 at 8:00pm. Hear the Fireworks as it was meant to be heard! Listen as we recreate the excitement and splendor of this extravagant piece with the passion and energy that is so unique to Mercury.  The concert opens with an Orchestral Suite by Bach. Kathryn Montoya, Recorder, joins Mercury for a Telemann Recorder Suite and Mercury performs the Texas premiere of a Sinfonia by J.F. Fasch.
