Mercury Baroque presents an orchestral concert designed with kids in mind. Narrator, Ana Treviño-Godfrey, DMA, will be the tour guide for a journey into the world of classical music. Adults and children alike will enjoy learning about dance rhythms, their importance in Baroque music, and the instruments of the orchestra in this fun and educational performance.
Currently Music Director of “Prelude, Music Classes for Children”, Dr. Treviño-Godfrey has taught students of all ages at Rice University, The Cleveland Institute of Music, Houston Community College, The Interlochen Arts Camp, and The Rocky Mountain Summer Conservatory.
