Mercury Baroque celebrates the 350th birthday of Henry Purcell on November 20th, 2009 with an elegant concert dedicated to his music and the music of his closest contemporaries. Canada’s Les Voix Baroques joins the Mercury chamber ensemble, led by Antoine Plante on the viola da gamba, in an intimate performance of some of England’s finest baroque music by Croft, Jenkins, Locke, and Purcell.
