Every contribution that you make to Mercury Baroque is important, in that it helps us to fulfill our mission to provide excellent, historically informed music to a wide audience.   A variety of elements must be combined to produce each Mercury Baroque season, and below is a “menu” listing some of the individual season components, and how much it costs to provide each one.

• Leader of the Band:  Sponsor Mercury Baroque Artistic Director and Conductor Antoine Plante for the 2010-2011 season.  $40,000
• Concertmaster Connection:  Underwrite the concertmaster’s chair for the 2010-2011 season.  $20,000
• Impresario:  Sponsor Mercury Baroque’s production of Vivaldi’s rediscovered opera Montezuma, a Texas premiere.  $15,000
• Musical Munchkins:  Underwrite one semester of Mercury Baroque’s educational outreach program Music and Motion.  $11,500
• Grand Patron:  Sponsor a Mercury Baroque concert.  $10,000
• In the Studio:  Sponsor Mercury Baroque’s annual CD recording project.  $5,000
• Say “Cheese!”:  Cover the cost of photography for Mercury Baroque’s season brochure.  $3,000
• Let There Be Light:  Sponsor the lighting crew and stage hands for a Mercury Baroque concert.  $2,500
• Have a Seat:  Underwrite the cost of the ushers for a Mercury Baroque concert.  $1,800
• A Roof Over our Heads:  Cover the cost of renting the Cullen Theater for a Mercury Baroque performance.  $1,800
• Get Your Programs:  Sponsor the cost of printing programs for a Mercury Baroque concert.  $1,250
• Keeping Score:   Underwrite the cost of sheet music for the season.  $1,250
• Deep Background:  Sponsor the pre-concert lectures by Dr. Yvonne Kendall prior to each concert.  $1,000
• Maintain a Musician:  Sponsor a Mercury Baroque performer for the concert of your choice.  $1000
