The Essence of Mercury Friday, October 3, 2008, 8:00 pm
The season opens with the brilliant concertos grosso of Handel's Opus 6 (1730) performed by Mercury Baroque's strings, the heart of the ensemble.  Considered by many to be the peak of his instrumental work, it will be a night to experience the genius of Handel and The Essence of Mercury.
Magnificat Saturday, December 13, 2008, 8:00 pm
Mercury Baroque presents a traditional holiday concert brought to life by the distinctive sound of period instruments. Joined by winds and the Mercury choir, the ensemble celebrates the season with an uplifting concert of Bach’s Magnificat and Orchestral Suite No. 3.

Fall in love with the complete Brandenburg Concertos. For a refreshing alternative to the usual Valentine’s Day fare, embrace the sweet sounds of Mercury and one of Bach’s most beloved works.
Baroque Meditation - Friday, March 20, 2009, 8:00 pm
 For this unique chamber music concert, Antoine Plante trades in his baton for the viola da gamba. Buxtehude’s Membra Jesu Nostri leads off an intimate evening of German vocal works featuring Canadian singing group Les Voix Baroques.
Lully’s Armide - Saturday, May 16, 2009, 8:00 pm
Mercury Baroque recreates the grandeur of 17th century France with Lully’s masterpiece Armide. French artists join the ensemble to resurrect this stunning opera for its first Houston performance.
