Save the date this summer for a special concert that is sure to add zest to your season festivities. Mercury Baroque and their Músicos, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Mexico in Houston, invite you to their Fiesta Mexicana Barroca at the Miller Outdoor Theater. This free concert promises to be a blast from the past as they perform villancicos from 18th century Mexico. For this performance, Mercury Baroque teams up with Mexico’s famed vocal ensemble Voz en Punto and two special guitarists to perform music of Mexico’s finest composers such as Padilla and Gutierrez. Join Mercury Baroque and Voz en Punto as they transport you to the Mexico you have never seen or heard.
